How do I remove Bumper Covers Under Headlights

Did some searching and striking out. I hope this is quick and simple.

Is is possible to remove the single piece (mine is 2008) covers in the front bumper just beneath the headlights? This is the cover where the headlight washer system would normally go if installed.

If possible, do they simply pop off with a pry of a screwdriver, or do I have to remove some clips or screws or anything?

You want em off? or like not there anymore; a smooth surface?

They are simply snapped in to the bumper.you'll need to remove the bumper to get at them and they are pretty hard to get out. I would use some light lubrication and some small prying devices to get them out. Trust me, they don't come out without a fight, but its doable.

One of mine came out when I hit a bird. Or at least one edge of it did. Just snapped back into place.

trim removal tool should do the trick without damaging them.

Are they ready for a headlight washer system install or completely wrong underneath?

there is nothing underneath. i can tell you that from experience.
