Hit & Run... is this serious?

Some stupid person impacted my bumper while parking probably and left the scene. Little paint was rubbed off and the bumper looked a little weird on one side so I removed the wheel liner and found the metal part behind it was bent.

Is this serious?

Guessing by photo thats the rear bumper. Loos like outer part of the rear body panel. I would bend it back and spray rust proofing or undercoat to prevent any exposed metal from rusting. Not serious.

Could just be a mouting bracket. Still leamning towards rear body. Went outside but too dark to start taking things apart on my car. Lol

Get it straightened and spray it so it doesnt rust.

I guess I'll take the rear bumper out tomorrow and see if I can straighten it with a plier, the metal seems really thin and flexible.
