Got chipped today

Hi Guys

I have notice after getting chipped a couple of months ago that my DV (at least I think its that, it happens when coming off high boost) "chirps". It kind of sounds like a bird chirping haha.

It doesn't do it all the time, and the sound is nothing like a BOV/normal woosh sound from DV's.

Is this the stock DV failing? Or possibly something else?

also it's relatively noticeable when i'm pulling up the driveway and a subtle pressure on the gas. i searched and i found malekgti made a thread in the "austria section". so i thought i make one here. and am not really sure if it's the DV or not.

I just recently got my car chipped through APR and I have also started to hear a "chirping" noise/pressure release whoosh. I am pretty sure it is the blow off valve. But, maybe you should upload a clip of it so that people can verify.

That's the next I'm going to do. I tried my phone to record the soound but the quality is not that good.

Well its the dv blowing off, yes it doesnt sound like a normal bov cause its a different setup. With the chip, there is more boost pressure so its goin to make the valve become a tad louder.

let your next mod be a boost gauge. It'll help with the boost leak paranoia. I promise.

intake will def. make dv sound louder and make car louder too :-(

haha... I think I chose the quietest intake ever.... the apr carbonio intake. It only growls when I floor it.
