What temp. are you guys getting on your pyrometers?? my probe is 3" from my turbo outlet. I get normal readings of 1300 degrees, but i have pinned my 1600 degree gauge......normal??:iono:

Uhhh thats not good, you shouldnt really be topping 1500*

Someone else will prob chime in but there is a reason it only goes to 1600*, Have you verified the "dongle" thing that is in your exhaust is still in okay shape?

All I know is that if you log block 034 in your vag com and see anything in the 900s it is spelling diaster! 800 is normal range for chip cars.
