The problem affects cars built after September 2008 so no Golfs, GTI's, Pirelli's or R32's should be affected as that was around the time they shut down manufacturing. Sales of the other car affected would be tiny so they'll probably contact the owners directly.

Now the wait begins.

^^ get rid of it they say it could never be fixed even people who had their car serviced at the dealer had the same problems again you should have bought an 06 or 07.

What's the problem :iono:

VW have identified an issue with a temperature sensor in the gearbox.

VW have issued a recall to repair said temperature sensor.

ABCnews (equivalent of Today Tonight and ACA) found a heap of stupid owners with young kids to talk about how their kids are shit scared to get back into the car and have nightmares about how they almost died and so forth.

Problem solved, stupid people take their car in, car is fixed and stupid people can go off and spill coffee on their laps at McDonald's.

Watch out for your ABS, ESP, EFI, Power Steering, Electric Windows, Central Locking and Automatic Headlights as well... Damn fangled new technology :biggrin:
