DSG making a rattling and whining noise!

Hey everyone recently my cars been making a very weird noise where I thought it was my axel due to the fact that it only happens while accelerating. Took my car to the mechanic and he put it on the life and sand the noises were coming from the DGS... The sound only happens in 1st gear, after going into second gear the noise disappeared. Now the tranny inside my car isn't the original it had 40k (unit and clutch) on it prior to being installed in my car. The old DSG tranny (which I still have) was replaced because of an oil leak.

I was wondering if anyone knows what might be causing that sound? I scanned the car with vag and no tranny codes came up. Just 02 because of my exhaust.

These 2 videos aren't under hard acceleration. That sound in the begging is the tranny.

Also known as the dual-mass flywheel, or DMF. I've had mine replaced once, but it never made noise while driving that I could hear. It was only noticeable at idle. The new one is doing the same thing after a few years. A lot of people refer to it as the "marble in a tin can" sound.

You can check your DMF at home by pulling the starter:

I gotta check it out. I was reading around that Vw extended the dsg warranty to 10 years of 100k miles... Is that true? How much much did it coast you to change the DMF?

I was under CPO warranty, so I didn't pay anything. The warranty is for the mechatronic only, I believe, but it's worth asking.
