Driver side axle

First off I would like to say if this is in the wrong place im sorry.

I am in need of a drivers side axle to replace the one on my 2006 GLI. I searched but didnt see anything about opinions on replacement axles. My car is lowered(23.6 FTG and I am going lower) and I am looking for something that will hold up well on my car. Any suggestions would be great.

DBC? I know Empi makes one that I can get for about $82 shipped, but I want to make sure it will be practical. I dont feel like replacing axles frequently.

the CV joint tore and got contaminated, its clicking away now.

Went right in. All you need is a new axle bolt to replace the stock one-time-use one.

Not sure why you're skeptical? It's an OEM replacement. New boots, new grease, OEM fitment.

They drop shipped it. Took like 3 days from payment to receipt.

Install was about an hour. Pull the wheel, pull she driveshaft, new one in, good to go.
