Clear Sidemarkers + Mirror Bulbs = Awesome

Maybe this is a pointless thread but thought I'd put it up anyways. I've had clear sidemarkers for a while and have had a love/hate relationship. I think they look great on my silver car, but hate the orange bleed through from teh bulbs (scrambled egss look I've seen it refered to as.) I found some of these mirror bulbs at a local store which took care of it:

The clear sidemarkers indeed do look better with the mirror bulbs then with those orange bulbs IMO

nice fix...i agree the orange bulbs look nasty...mirror looks great--had them on my last car, and loved em!

I wonder if they make them for the turn signals on the front...I've seen the bulbs listed as 2 different types, 1156 and Philips 12356. I can easily find the 1156, but I don't even see stock replacements for the Philips bulb, argh
