Finally got these fault 2 weeks ago. Been clearing it and looked for possible leaks in the system. Cleaned out the sensors yet it still comes back on.

Mod list: APR stage II, BSH Stage1 intake w/stage II pipe, Techtonics DP (FSI).

You guys know if this fault is normal or is this thing pretty bad.

I would guess that the O2 sensor might be shot. Try replacing it.

How long have you the DP on?

I've had the DP for about 2 months or so now.

Did you check if the wires going to the O2 sensors are OK? You have a Tectonics DP, perhaps they always throw a CEL. Someone else who has one on their car would need to chine in.

The thing that gets me is that I thought when you get chipped the CEL would go away. I have an 09 TSI

What does the test pipe file do? Is this part of the APR flash?

test pipe file has the software to tell the computer not to read for the cat, since you have none.

When they load the software on your car they have to put one of two files. either you have a performance cat or you have a test pipe (catless). It seems like you have the wrong file. P 420 is one that reads that the cat is bad.

If you had a leak you'd be getting like p2096.

atleast i believe that's how it is with revo. When they flashed me to stage 2 i saw him select test pipe from a list of stage 2 files

Just noticed you state you have Stage 2, but do you have the Stage 2 flash, or are you just stating you have Stage 2 because you have a DP? APR's Stage 2 software might only work with APR downpipes - don;t they come with a high-flow cat?
