This is a stock look around windows (still chrome). I think it is called shadow lining when you black it out. I personally like what OP did.

im with them.. i would have kept the chrome. it flowed nicely.. not many things are blacked out on your car and you shouldnt start now. but dont get me wrong. your car is sick as fuh

I would recommend gloss black like your mirrors !!

So the matte trim is out. It's between the regular shadowline stainless trim or a gloss black top trim.
