ok...so i stumbled across swoop.com today...
basically it's an auction site...but you pay for each bid you place, .75-1.00, and also if the bidding time left is very low, every bid brings that remaining time back to 15-20 seconds until the bidding stops.
a few crazy examples that i saw today...
a macbook...brand new...$8.07 ending price, 152 total bids(not even all buy the winner), $20 shipping...TOTAL possible cost if the winner made every bid...$180...
Mitsubishi 73" DLP TV...$22.07 ending price, 332 total bids, $70 shipping...TOTAL possible cost...$425...
I am just curious if anyone has any experience on here...the site seems legit, with a good bit of online advertising...their plan is to have enough bids on each item to make up for the difference of what it sells for, and what they pay for it...dont know if that happens all that often but it seems worth a try for some people w/ $ and time...
