2007 GTI model question

does every 2007 GTI has a TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensor) button ?

in the manual i read that my Canadian 2007 GTI SHOULD have that button....but then my car DOESN';T.....

any canadian GTI owners have this problem?

and should i go talk to my dealer about this?

because i'm thinking that my dealer tricked me into buying a 2006 GTI....

we don't get the sensors in the tires it uses the ABS sensors from what i understand of it so no button

according to my deal bytek, and vwoa(canada??) they say that the 07 canadian gti does not have tpms. i found out the hard way as i went into get warrenty service done and it turned out that i had only 15lbs left in one of my tires and i didnt get any lights on

The CDN cars don't have it, US only, as it is now law there for '07 models.

Trust me, you don't want it anyway. It's a major pain in the ass.

Just check your tire pressure regularly and you'll be okay.

Right, you do not need them.

Your car doesn't have it. There is no TPMS "brain" to trigger any lights or faults. Some of the wheels have sensors and are on cars that don't have the system, a lot of the '06 GTI's in the States had this also.

You can change wheels without sensors and you won't have any problems. :thumbsup:

It's a generic manual.

If you want to find out for sure, let a tire down to 15 psi and drive a hundred yards.
