No your not in limp mode.....I had the same problem when i installed my boost gauge. Your setting set to 0-0-0 which is valet mode, can't boost past 5psi and 3500rpm is redline. Just go back to your dealer and get your settings reset.

I'm not REVO'd -- but I looked into it when I was finding a chip.

Can't you get the SPS Plus Select-o-matic and set these up yourself?

Trust me i had the same exact problem....all that you need is your settings updated. When the battery is out of the car for more then 30min or so REVO goes into valet mode as a security precaution.

If you have an SPS use it or go to the dealer.

you dont need to go to the vw dealer, you could get the whole thing fixed at your revo guy

that just means he's pretty much gonna put it to stock settings. what you (i gotta do this also) should invest in is a SPS plus, cuz you can save your stock settings and your revo settings and a bunch of others (settings for cold days, warm days, the track blah blah blah). so when you go to your vw dealer to get a check up or anything done, set it to stock and they'll pretty much never find out you got chipped.

I am in the very same situation, I purchased my mkv from what seemed a repo company and they didn't know much about vw's. My car goes into limp mode after about 20 mins or so of driving it won't allow to rev above 3k rpm. I've done the noise pipe delete, front pcv plug, clean maf using crc MAF cleaner, replaced new fuel filter with updated 6.6 bar unit, replaced thrush sensor, checked for boost leaks but issue still persist.

Is there any way of finding out if I'm tuned with revo? Again, I wasn't giving much info and I purchased the car bacause has very low mileage and all seemed good at first.

Ps. Excuse the thread revival
