Car will LOCK with remote but not UNLOCK

Tried both keys, car will lock with the remote, but not unlock, have to do it manually. also, it will unlock using the switch inside the car.. anyone have a similar issue?

got 3k and 1 month left on warranty, so it seems like the perfect time for a fuckup

Could be as simple as the battery in your remote is on its way out.

Yeah, it's usually the battery when that happens. Here's how to do it:

mines been doing this on and off. if i take the key apart and put it back together, without replacing anything, it works fine.
