J388/J389 no signal

I'm having 'no signal' error to the passenger side doors (both front and rear) and haven't been able to find any online sources on how to fix this. The VAGCOM coding is the same as before (FYI this happened after a body repair that took a while. The battery drained to death and not sure why the door controllers wouldn't be able to establish communication with the central electronics system).

Any ideas? The wire connectors in the doors seem fine (I basically tugged gently on each wire to make sure nothing was loose)
