It funny you say that, they still aren't sure due to cost. That car has been in the US for like 6 months. Right now with current exchange rates it would cost 60K which obviously no one will buy so they are working on getting the price down so where the MKV Rs were at. Sounds nice though, the driver, who will remain nameless (the Stig ), made use of the launch control and it took off, very quick.

For the evo owners... how do you like it? is the 4g very fast? and most importantly, is the battery as bad as alot of people say?

battery can be annoying sometimes, other than that there is no comparison with other phones. it just trumps everything. 4g is insanely fast, screen is huge, phone runs multiple tasks no problem, and kickstand is fun to show off with lol.

How bad is the battery. I'm used to the blackberry world where I can go fine all day and just charge it at night

i can generally go all day without charging it and leave it charging overnight, but depends what i'm doing. if i just sit down and have the screen on, i can kill the battery in like 2-3 hours. if i'm streaming pandora, i can go for days probably. basically the screen being on is what kills the battery. if you lower brightness (among other things) you can extend the battery.

Thread Revival!

Here are what I believe are some awesome pictures, all shot with my HTC EVO. They're the best of hundreds of pics since I've had the phone. ( Side note: I dunno why the hell photobucket decided to make the pics smaller and grainy. Anyone know of a photo sharing site that doesn't do this? I'm not familiar with this stuff.)

These are not edited at all, unless specified.

This is the first pic I ever took with the phone, about 10 minutes after purchase.

A shot I took in order remember this moscato; It was amazing!

Random shot outside of work.

Right after I wrapped my dash "thingies" in 3m carbon vinyl.

These three are from a restaurant my woman took me to this past summer - can't remember the name. I had this brown ale there that was the sex - can't remember the name of that either.

A few pics from NYC the day after a night out in November:

HAHA! I had to!

My friend's foot interested me while I was hung over. (Yes I made him stand there while I took a pic)

My friend goes, "Why the hell are you shooting my foot? Look at this wall!"

(Slight editing for brightness/contrast)

I took this pic while we were leaving NYC to go home. I was also the driver.

This last one is on St. Patty's Day. My friend who works at the Capitol building let me in across the street to take this pic from an office window (through the glass).

I did an HDR effect on this - I love how it turned out.

For you iPhone shooters, check out our friends at ALM. www.almlive.com

They make a sick carrier for the iPhone that we have used for a lot of internal photo projects.
