Wanting pics on the new & cleaned block! Were you able to determine the cause of the crack? Timing off, too much power or both?

Finally picked the block and head up today. Dropped off my differential to get the ring gear rivets drilled out.

Would u compare your precision to a garrett GTX3076R? Ind wheels are both close as well as rated hp. Going to dyno my GT28 soon w/ stock bottom end. GT2871R rated 400hp but on stock bottom end only expecting, well at least hoping, 300whp/wtq.

The PTE has an optional journal bearing which saves you $$$. The GTX is ball bearing only. They flow in the same neighborhood.
