I have a FSI DSG with about 165,000 miles on the clock. In the past few weeks I have noticed the car surge under moderate to heavy acceleration. I finally got around to doing a run and a data log on VCDS. No codes were found FYI
When under load I can hear the boost build and the diverter valve open, then boost, then release and repeat. If this does not make sense then hopefully these crazy graphs will tell the story. *Complete 3rd gear pull with a 4th gear shift*
