Looking great from where I am right now; hopefully it means OPH is dry at 1.30PM.

I'm still tied up with finishing something here, so can you wait til around 1.15PM or will see you directly at Cowan truck stop asap, which might be better all round. :)

That was a frustrating drive in stretches.
  • The very slow Toyota driver for much of OPH 1.
  • Slow MC person on a very old bike who wanted to own the road.
  • Person in 4WD on the last stretch from PITS, who rather than let me pass before the lanes merge into one, decides to block me as I'm only one carlength behind (slam on brakes time).

Nice to see our GT friends along the way; I hope you had a better time of it. Did you get some good stuff at the produce place?

How about the number of MC groups? Incredible. EVERYONE must have been on OPH today.

I hope that the accident that closed OPH wasn't a fatality.

In the summer months OPH shouldn't be driven before 6pm.

Hi Ben,
Yeah, it was a good drive for us, why did you have to leave early?
We bought a whole box of veggies and eggs - all for $14.

The best quality fresh produce this side of Australia you will never step foot into a Woolworths or Coles for produce again!... It's around the Buckety area, north of Peats Ridge.

Cash only guys, I missed out on the best rocket :(

Usually I wait until after 6pm, because by then the authorities have finished scraping the remains off the roads as a result from those crazy bikers.

Well you wouldn't have if you had taken our offer of a loan.

Aye - the veggies are fresh as. Nothing in the supermarkets or fruit shops are as fresh and esp for the price.

After all of my rushing back I get stuck behind some blokes in a decrepit Hyundai Excel from QLD and their cigarette litter and a tourist drive, LOL.

When I finally got out in front I got cut off by a superannuated holidaymaker's 4WD which had to block me getting through the last bit of the 2-lane stretch past PITS. Sucky.

I'll bring Mrs Bizi next time and we will have a good excuse to drive to Peats Ridge/Bucketty.

Did they have any brussels sprouts? I'd imagine they are well, well out of season.

As per the test drive yesterday, adding firmer swaybars would certainly dial out understeer. I'm not sure I want to go down the slippery path as there's no end. Only problem is I doubt it would will become neutral, but rather the tendency to snap into sudden oversteer, not sure I'm after that either... Let's for now just concentrate on rear tyres haha.
