Fender apron repair

Hey everybody, I need some advice on my rebuild. The car was in a front end collision and I am nearly done with the rebuild. I'm no body guy, so I have an issue. The part where the radiator support mounts was bent and I have bent it back with some pliers and hammering. Not the prettiest thing, but it works. It still has a crease and I dont think it will pass inspection this way. Do you think cutting out the crease and welding it would be a good idea? How about heating the area and trying to get it straight? I am open to different ideas. My last resort is a body shop.
