Castrol 5w-40 at Advanced Auto Parts for $23 and 5 qts
Hey guys,
Just a quick heads up for those of you that are ready for and oil change... The standard 5w-40 Castrol that is typically around $8.79 a qt... If you go online http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/content_motor-oil___ they have a special for buying 5qts of oil and a Bosch filter for around $30 bucks...
They do not have a Bosch filter that fits the GTI... So if you buy this deal for local pickup and tell them you need to swap for the right filter you can do that... Or just get a refund for the filter and get 5qts of the Oil for 23 bucks....
Thats almost 4 bucks a qt... stock up on this one if you like this oil.
