Hi All,
I took a glance at the VCDS website the other day and noticed there are now newer versions of this product and what looks to be multiple versions depending on your requirement (e.g. business or home user).
I still own an original cable which works on any number of cars i believe and from what i understand it won't be of any user on post 2019 cars.:frown:
To anyone who has any experience of these newer VCDS wireless dongle types, do you know how the product restricts usage to a set number of VINs; is it don't through the software version or recorded in the dongle?
In the scenario i ever wanted to sell the dongle I can see this making it more of a challenge if you'd used up most of your licenses.
