R32 Cat Removal

So I plan on cutting out the cats on my R32. Not for performance but for sound. So couple of questions I have.

So for design I plan on matching the factory diameter of the exhaust. once cats are cut out I will put in place steel and hold in with an exhaust clamp on each side. such as a clamp like this.

so first question is what is factory exhaust diameter

next question is should i space both 02 sensors or just the one post cat. (yes i know there are 2 cats so everything is double)

any suggestions and insight are appreciated

and as far as for emissions i can put the cats back in with the same design I'm building this setup similar to the mkv eurojet exhaust thats on my gti

just the one post cat. the pre cat sensor is for fueling not for emissions. DO NOT PUT IT ON A SPACER
