something holding back ...

For some strange reason I'm sure something is holding back when driving... Before you could cruise along in 4th 5th 6th gear easily on a flat stretch of road but now seems u always need to be slightly on the accelerator to keep a momentum going (... dunno if that makes any sense ... )

New rear calipers fitted last year ...
New front calipers fitted last month ...
New front brake hoses fitted last month ...
With car on ramp all wheels running freely it seems

After fitting the front calipers last month the front brakes were bleed and checked ... didnt realise all corners & clutch also needing bleed ... the pedal is a little spongy so will b e rebleeding and changing fludid .... doubt bleeding brakes incorrectly would could the car to be binding / holding back...??

Anything else might be the cause ??

After a drive, touch each of the wheels and see if you have one warmer than the others. You might have a caliper sticking.

^what he said, only other thing that would be binding would be the parking brake. Jack up the rear end and make sure the cables have some (this means very little) slack in them and they aren't tight.

Thanks for replies.... All brakes are free along with handbrake cable. .. Would there be anything drive train related?

Wheel bearing, however you would hear it, if it had gotten that bad.

Really low tyre pressures.
