You are more brave than me looking for a second hand carbon MTB. Road bikes I can understand second hand carbon, seeing as they normally don't take near as much abuse. I'd just be scared of small cracks that can't be hidden in pictures. Regardless good luck in you search!

yeah, I had have warnings about used bikes. that's why I'd rather buy one in person so I can inspect the condition. Not just the frame but components can take as much abuses and replacing them can run up the bill pretty quick.
