Take it back to the person who recently did your service or a person knowledgable about golf mkv or the dealer. Definitely don't drive it. Hook it up to vcds maybe.

I didn't listen to the sound but i am pretty certain that you shouldn't even consider starting it.

when in particular does it make the noise or shake?could there be possibly something loose under the bonnet?was something not bolted on properly when you had recent work done?

nothing on the dash...
there are 'pissing' sound and engine shakes alot....like air running out..
someone suggested it might be a boost leaked... problems when installing my boost gauge...
arranged for monday's inspection by mechanic...
thanks for replies.

sounds like a vacuum leak to me. could be the recently installed gauge wasn't installed properly, and the boost line has come off.

a vac leak would cause the same kind of noises, and make the engine idle very badly, if it even idles at all.

Update.
Just happened one part of the boost hose crack and was told the hose was a little brittle.
It actually split and was totally disconnected, therefore make the engine idle so badly.

When boost gauge installed, the mechanic re-used the oem vacuum hoses but it should really be replaced new.
