Tassie trip April 2011

So I was fortunate to organise a trip to tassie recently, the trip was good with fantastic drives, looked at some great cars from Targa and caught up with family and friends.

Some pics of the trip can be found here if interested, some nice cars, mostly porsche, but I will post some vids taken on the GoPro over the period.

First one is actually the last on made of the leg to Devonport to catch the ferry back, its a good road (a bit wet though) and kept me smiling, some more epic roads were driven and I will post these vids when I get round to editing them.

So hopefully the first video is still working, and this new one keeps working as well.

This is probably the second best road of the trip, from a little town called Deloraine up to the peak overlooking Great Lake, the road had everything, a great climb, fast sweepers and some hectic hairpins.

Last video, this one is of the return from Cradle Mountain to Sheffield, a stunning part of the world and a hell of an amazing drive, best road I have ever driven easily.

To be honest I am really excited about the prospect of racing year after next, if the wife signs off its going to be a hell of a week!

The more I look at those photos, the more I want to drive those roads.
Navigator/co-driver position filled yet, Nath? :)

Let's go racing with some old farts who never got a chance to let their hair on fire when they were our age.

Actually the guy featured is a former world champion with the co-driver ad well. Amazing this is that the car is the same car he raced 20 years ago with no major mods
