I just enrolled on the new forum..but I talked to Kim for a little bit today, and I agree with her, in that, we should probably just try to expand and branch out to just MKV's for now. I mean we can always assume to add MKIV's and stuff later. But this was based off of a MKV enthusiast forum...
Another way to look at it....we have pride in our cars yes, but is it just MKV's or do we have pride and enthusiasm toward all VW's? Everybody likes being part of something big, and I think that theres a lot more crazy show car type MKIV's that could provide some serious tuner depth to a club because the cars have been around longer. Me personally I dont care one way or the other but I can understand both sides...it just depends on how you look at it. I say start with MKV groups first, and build it up, and when we get a foundation we can think about expanding to other generations.
