I removed the transmission valve body to swap out the solenoids.
During reinstall of the valve body i found info for the bolts to be 8 NM + 90˚
the 8 NM was fine and then i started the 90˚. A few bolts seem fine and then other bolts started to feel like it was too tight and then getting a little soft.
So the question is, should i attempt to re-loosen and re-adjust the bolt or leave it as is?

It's not going to be fun if any repairs to the threads are required.:frown:

Pull it off and inspect it. Don't want stripped threads

That's like 5.5-6 ft lbs.

Yeah. I should have thought about it more since steel bolts usually don't have TTY like the aluminum bolts. Steel bolts in aluminum body can be disastrous when overtightened.
Yup. I over tq an exh mani nut on the stud. Fuckin nightmare

So you did not get new bolts or reused the old TTY bolts??

Reusing the bolts. I didn't see anyinfo on needing replacing.

Update: Found some additional info stating these are stretch bolts
Also at such small torque, one would think it's safe to reuse.

Hope i didn't foobar it.

If it gets soft when you do the 90 degrees it probably is that the bolt is stretching, which is normal. The others did not do because they were probably not tighter than the first time they were put in and so already stretched to this torque
