excuse me for being an idiot. I changed mt fluid in a 2008 rabbit. put it on lift, pulled fill plug on side of trans, pulled drain plug on bottom. a little came out of fill plug. and maybe a qt or less out of drain plug. I put 1.9 qt of ravenol mt3 in it thru thru the reverse light sensor
then a few days later I was reading info on this vehicle, and I ran across vw service bulletin on changing mt fluid. said something about selector shaft pins being removed to change fluid. IS OR WAS THAT NECESSARY?
I read nothing of this prior to attempting a mt fluid change
