It's around $1000 if you will use the original material or the highest quality one available in the market.

Rocco Build Updates!

I am updating the Rocco build in MK6 & Sciroccocentral forums, here are the links:

MK6
http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100121

Scirocco Central
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/for...p?f=13&t=21372

I will keep this thread for the MKV until I complete the swap and decide if I will sell it or I will keep it for tracks only but I am not sure I will do any modifications on it if I kept it

After swapping the suspension & brakes I decided to give it a shower and car care too

After the shower I started again to think about keeping it as stock GTI and don't sell it

ME & MY MKV Build! (Fun, Tough & Cost)

It has been long time without updates.
Was very busy focusing on WORK, WORK, WORK and sometimes cars!
Below few pics of installing the remaining and pending parts into MKV engine before swapping to Rocco:

More is coming soon

Here is one of the best pieces I have till now "iABED 1.8T oil filter housing", it replaces the conversion plate and the OEM 1.8T oil filter housing, allows more space before touching the throttle body, I will write a complete review of it after completing the parts installation.

Pics

Before installation:

After installation:

The Mishimoto oil cooler sandwich is installed in the above pics, in my opinion if the new version of iABED plate can include the IN & OUT lines for the oil cooler then it will be incredible as it will save more space and replacing 3 pieces instead of 2. But, to be honest it wasn't in the initial design.

More is coming

Issam, is it possible to have a new version including the IN & OUT ports/lines for the oil cooler?
It will save more space and It will be a complete solution in my opinion.

Yeah, but increase for now and be ready for the EFR7163 when I go for it.
I wish if I can go for EFR7670 but it's B2 housing and won't fit in the MKV or Rocco bay.

I checked the car yesterday and it was back together again.

I drove for a round and the behavior was not powerful as before I don't know why!
Then I found this fault

Any idea?
I am very disappointed, I missed my car for last 2 months and now I have to wait more till I fixed the issue.

Checked the BPY wiring diagram:

n205 pin 2 goes to pin 20 on 60 pin ecm connector, lilac/white wire
n205 pin 1 to pin 11 at j271 (underhood fusebox), blue/red wire, 10 amp fuse pisition 38

Run an output test on the N205 in VCDS/basic settings
check cam chain tensioner tightness
make sure you have good oil pressure/level
check wiring (above)
