Followed the video. Same answer. Lpfp is the exact same as the old OEM on the tune.

So you had 6.2 bar on fuel rail after shutting down a hot engine instead of 50+ bar and rising. What was it at idle before shutting down?

Your first post indicates you did fuel logs please post them.

Did you do basic setting on the lpfp when you swapped them out?

My mistake. I don’t have VCDS and was running it off a friend’s computer. Idle is 45-47 bar because the computer is pushing the lpfp harder to compensate. Hpfp is pumping like 5bar and essentially not functioning. It’s not so much a fuel cut as it is a gradual loss of power depending where you are on the pedal/engine speed.

Here’s my guesses at this point:
Hp fuel sensor?
Leaky injectors
Wiring harness is toast somewhere
Overboosting causing drop in pressure? Idk

I did not change the settings on the lpfp and don’t have access to the fuel codes. Just know it stayed around the numbers I mentioned above.

Really just pissed and over it at this point. Cold starts sound like a chopper. Sounds like only 2 cylinders are firing

Find someone with Vcds or equivalent and do scans at idle and in gear 3rd or 4th be safe have another person in car running Vcds and do the fuel logs, save and post. Here are some MB to look at http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/2.0l_TFSI_(AXX/BGB/BPJ/BPY/BWA)#Special_Functions and 231 and the lpfp bs that I believe you did not do http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/2.0l_TFSI_(AXX/BGB/BPJ/BPY/BWA)#Fuel_Pump

Here are some logs (from a running fine GTI BPY stock)as an example you can post them up here http://log.malonetuning.com/upload copy link and post here for everyone to look at.

At Idle rail pressure at 50bar lpfp at 4.25bar

Have you checked the PCV and rear breather tube(only if it has a check valve in it). Where did you add the BG44k and Seafoam? Intake valves may have excessive carbon build-up on them if only added those products to the fuel. Can you give the codes currently?

Haven’t gotten access to VCDS yet. Just replaced the high pressure fuel sensor. No change. I have no more $$ to throw at this car.

Lost. Boost control solenoid? Check valve?

Not that this will help you now but Ross-Tech cable is the first thing to buy when you can afford it. Best tool you can have for diagnosis and to avoid throwing random parts at car in hopes one of them will be the right one.

Maybe try the Vcds locator and see if someone is nearby that can assist in scanning and logging you car.

And if you have the ability to put it in stock mode do it and see if things change.

Alright guys. Still no access to VCDS. Spark plugs are black as all hell. So it appears to be running rich but saying "low pressure to rail." How is this possible if the fuel filter is new and rail pressure is calculated before the fuel gets to the injectors?

Fuel cuts are still apparent, but the car appears to be operating better and better every day... like extremely gradually. I just purchased it about a month ago. Apparently it sat for 4 months. Anyways... if this updated info helps anyone diagnose without VCDS let me know.

It's quite difficult to know what's going on if you cannot see what are the sensors reading. Your black spark plugs could by an entirely different issue, if I can give you one advice is to invest in VCDS or eventually ODB-11 which is a bit cheaper but I am not sure how it works. It's not cheap but I think it is the best investment you can do if you own a VW and you service it yourself. You will save money in the long run as you will not be throwing parts on your car hoping that it solves your problem.
