Lowering R32 seats?

Hi All,

I'm finding the seats on my 2008 R32 uncomfortable for my 90-minute commute. I've got the seat height adjusted as low as possible, but would still like to be sitting lower.

Has anyone lowered their seat beyond the factory adjustment? If so, how did you do it?

Aftermarket seats are pretty much your only option at this point.

Speculation here - Probably could shave some foam off the seats and recover them - or have them checked by an automotive upholsterer?

I got the driver's seat reshaped at an auto upholsterer--they shaved the foam and spread the bolster supports out. Makes a huge difference--vastly improved.
