Was in Mexico the other day and at the lights I met this guy I hung out with for an hour last summer who had a MS3. Loud car, backfires, and the intake sounds like a jet. Either way, we ended on the highway, 3 honks and pulled. started around 90 kph, I was in 4th at 3000 rpm, he was in 3rd. We pull
> bumper to bumper.
> 170 kph same thing result
Try two more pulls, same results. Both cars manual.
> Cop with radar ahead, I slow down, he freaks out and takes the 1st exit.
He did have 1 person in the car and a set of wheels. I'm surprised I was able to stay near him.
Both cars manual, but I think my shifts are faster than his.
My mods:
- Forge twintake
- Unitronic turboback
- PCV relocate
- DV valve
- Euro R32 suspension
- 260 whp 300 whtq
Does one person and a set of wheels make that much of a difference? I know he has the COBB stage 2+, an intake, and possibly an inter cooler.
