I was trying to clean this white stuff off of my recently bought jetta grille(used) and I couldn't get this white stuff off. I tried a bunch of things. Any ideas or tricks?

I would try brake cleaner, rubbing alcohol or goo gone. If nothing works, you could always sand down and repaint it black. Oh, or plasti-dip it.

You're better off just respraying, it will look better. Krylon makes a matte black spray for plastics or you can spray with plastidip.

Black Wow Pro should clean that right up

I wouldn't use Brake cleaner on plastic, as it will dehydrate and eat right through it. It will basically stain it further. You can try goo gone, but that most likely will only mask the issue.

Mothers back to black would surely work. Just clean the area using APC and a brush before applying back to black.
