I conducted a search and I could not locate a DIY to removing our tail lights. Could anyone point me in the correct direction? Thanks.

Go from your trunk, look right behind the the taillight. There should be some openings in carpet, pop that open. Now, disconnect all the connections. You will see some bolts in there, I believe theres 2 or 3. Take those off and the tails come out. For the ones on the hatch, you should be able to see the cut out on the plastic, pop that off. Space is tight in there for a ratchet but I haven't taken those out before.

Hope it helps.

like above, just remove the carpet behind the light and you'll see two nuts holding the light in. Remove those and unclip the bulbs and the light will slide off.

Yes yes,

for the main tail lights (on body)

-pop off opening on side carpet
-disconnect wiring connection with flat head screwdriver
-unscrew the 2 nuts above and below with 10mm driver
-slowly remove the tail lights from the outside

for ones on the hatch

-pull off the 2 plastic covers on the top of the hatch
-turn the wiring/bulb cover to its correct place
-remove the 2 nuts with 10mm driver
-slowly remove lights.

all should be simple and straight foward procedure.

Good Luck and be sure to post pics of darcness' R32 Tails
