Had a little fun with some plastidip.





Broke the tabs on my old front grille emblem so I went to the VW dealer, bought a new one. Disassembled and dipped the back of that one white, then put it back together and installed it.

It's hard to capture the color shift on camera. I just snapped this one with my phone. No filters at all. Depending on light and angle they're either teal purpleish or grey. Usually a combination of the three

151,xxx miles worth. In closest approximation of oldest to newest (L-R). First was changed at ~40k, then every 15-20k after. Newest was k04 for 16k

Damn, for being so dilegent onyour mileage I'm surprised at the differences in wear. I'm getting ready to check my 3rd and possibly put in the 4th in about a 1,000 more miles. Ill line mine up and compare wear as well.

As for what I did to mine today (well last night) went to my weekly meet and washed it in the parking lot with quick detailer before everyone else showed up lol.
