So. I have some updates from the DaiLy_ProjeCt. I know I should focus more on my main project, however this one seems to be eating my wallet too. I dont know how it manages it. But it does. Maybe old loves never go away . .

So . . . digging my things to put up for sale, I came across my old OSIR kit for the VW Key.

I Love the fact that I am keeping boxes from everything

Custom painted like I had left them from 3 years ago

Lost no time . .

And there it was . . .

Then, I bought a good fire extinguisher

Like I had in the Audi

Installed the bracket under the passenger's seat

And went for this clean installation. Subtle, and clean.

How do you like the looks, that are this low

Well I love it

No, I did not lower it, it is just that the car was on a ramp, and snapped some photos . . .

3-Wheeler Status

Then I bought these two

Added some velcro on the back

To make them - the female end on the seatbelt on the RECAROs

That's done.

So what else . . .

Oh, remember my quest to do something to the seats to blend in the car even better . . .

Well . . .

:love::love::love:

And finally, some new arrivals for the wheels . . .

These

Along with these

Soon on the car, after a good wash :D

Hope you liked

Cheers

Thank you Lazare, long time no see my friend.
I visited Serres once with the Audi, but with just 190-200hp, in a very heavy car, and very thin tires, 225,40,18, that were destroyed in a weekend from brand new.

If I recall I had done something in the 1,37,xxx area, but again, car was awful to drive and very, I mean, VERY slow, even in comparison to the 1,400cc Golf we both have.

Sadly I didnt have the chance to come to Serres later when the car had up to 700hp to see what it could do. Some time in the future though, I wish I can make it. The car however is now aiming towards 1xxx hp numbers so I doubt it will be very driveable in corners.

Cheers

Very nice lap time you have achieved there. Well done.
Feel free to show us what you have done to your GT.

As for the audi, I doubt it will be ready by then, and even if so, it will be more likely to see it accelarate on the straight line with the power it will be pushing, hehe :)

Cheers :)

I do, but it is only sold locally, not like OMP, SPARCO, like I used to have in the past.
It is great quality though, and totally reconditioned after passing inspection in their shop once a year.

Maybe I will buy a LIfeLine kit for my Audi which will be racing more often in the future, but this one is great for my daily

So, a big update for the DaiLy_ProjeCt

First of all . . . I did some work on the wheels

Wheel Bolts

And tired hubs, had to go

Let's do work

Painted hubs satin black and new studs on

Dont forget this

Tidy

Wheels back on

Hmmmm much better

Love it

Now, some days later - Someone decided to hurt my car while I was away

The damage while beginning sanding it

Almost done sanding

Then attacked with the rotary, and these

Almost perfect

Very happy with that too.

Finally, my trim shop called me to collect the recaro parts that were ready . . .

Lost no time of course and installed them right there

Like it, is an understatement. Hope you like it too

Cheers guys

Well some more things into the DaiLy story.

it was time to go grab those beauties

Weather was not the best

but I did.

Then, the moment I loaded the seats into the car, two things happened.

1. The trunk lock, decided to go off. Thus not letting me close the trunk.
I was shocked that it decided to happen at that moment, when I had about 50km to go home with a lot of heavy rain. Anyway, I managed to make the trunk close safely, so as to drive home. Then . . .

2. The battery went dead when I tried to start the car. Feeling the mood there, dont you guys ?:rock:

Either the Golf was jealous of the Audi taking the seats, or a lot of bad energy from people when they saw the pic I uploaded being happy and all.

Oh well, either way, I started the car on my own, pushing it - and gear jump start always work like a treat. And made it to the stealership just in time, given it was Friday noon and grabbed a new one of these

Lost no time

Next to each other

And what do you know - it worked great again.

Then I went for a bigger 72 battery from Italy this time

Golf managed to get its gifts that day, truth be told.

Then, given the heavy rains in greece, i decided to go for a winter setup that will allow me to move quicker in floods in greek roads if needed .

So . . . this happened . . .

looking pretty tough I must say . . .

Stay tuned . . . more to come :D
