I decided to replace all the engine cover grommets and brackets as mine were all cracked/broken, while the engine cover was off I installed my old Black Forest Industry catch-can from my last MKV.
Now I'm having issues getting the engine cover back on, from the only angle I can see it seems the front left is not lining up.
Before I uninstall the catch-can to test if it simply does not fit with the OEM cover, does anyone know for certain that this can't be done?
I had it easy with an aftermarket intake on my last GTI, as I didn't have to worry about the massive engine cover. Doing my best this time to keep things looking more OEM.
