With that said...I wanted to run a "Definitely Modded new M3" once, but the guy didn't want to line up side by side. He just took off when I couldn't get around to go with him. But it was a monster...made me feel like it would've been quite the task for my gti to keep up with that one.

A lot M3 owners just think they can hit the gas at anytime and bam, go. That's more the case with the E92. Not so much with the E46.

A modded E92 would need forced induction to make a whole lot of difference. These engines are pretty built from the factory. You're no wringing a whole lot more out of them with exhaust and all the typical bullshit.
