So I finally got round to ordering my lowering springs, some of you may know I was planning on coilovers but decided against them as they were going to cost too much, so I went for a set of Eibach Sportlines with a 50/35mm drop, still on stock shock but just going to see how I get along, so after a good couple of hours later & my drive shaft comming out of the CV boot it was all back together:

Front springs:

Rear springs:

and the all important before.....

.....and after

Drives really well & even with a full car theres no scrapes, only had them on 2 days now so im hoping the springs will settle in & drop down a bit more,

Thanks for reading,

Ben

Looks good just the right height. That said I took the chance and ordered those VWRacing springs.

I used to have them on with stock shocks. Had them on for over 1000 miles and no problems. Nice ride height and they should settle a little bit more, not a lot though.
