So I have a sneaking suspicion my flex pipe may be leaking. When it's cold it has a poof sound, kinda like an old Mississippi steam boat or steam powered train. I have never experienced issues with this before I was wondering if that's what's going on I took a video but haven't figured out how to upload it yet. I haven't been able to find any videos on this yet

Well, i think I had the same issue but then I replaced an O2 sensor and all was well. Same exact noise also btw and had the smell of burnt gas every so often.

To get a replacement you will need to get a universal flex pipe welded in. The OEM part is not sold individually unfortunately and to get to our flex pipes is a bit of a pain.

The flex section before the cats? Yeah, those are like really weak for some reason. Maybe a muffler shop will weld in stronger flex joints.

I've seen that the motor mount bolt head sheers off and causes a lot of engine movement which essentially causes the flex to separate entirely from the pipe itself.
