Hey guys,
Just got my aftermarket deck/sub installed this past weekend & ran into an issue & was wondering if anybody has had this issue before or knows how to fix it.
Basically I was at a drive in movie and our cars have the safety feature that it will cut all power to the car (lights/radio etc) once your battery reaches a certain level so that you have enough power to turn it on later.
Well that happened to me about an hour into the movie so i went to turn it on and the car started fine however the aftermarket deck had no power. After removing the faceplate, turning the car on an off, locking it etc etc I finally gave up and pulled the fuse on the radio & put it back in & the deck started working again.
Now I'm wondering why it did not automatically turn back on when the car was started like the oem unit used to) and how can I fix this issue?
