its been a long time since Ive been here so let me start by saluting everyone!
today i went to the VW dealer for the 60K check up and they found that the front shocks (original) are showing traces of oil so that leads me to ask a couple of question on the forum considering that I dont like to change anything else:

Is there a better aftermarket option for the factory SACHS?

Do you recommend that I change the rear shocks as well?

Is there any other part recomended to change as well?

I own a 2009 MKV probably one of the last made before the MKVI

Thanks!!

I loved my Bilstein/Eibach setup. Ran it for several years both street and track along with Eibach sway bars - I really liked them and recommend the setup to anyone looking to do a nice street setup (huge improvement over stock in terms of handling with minimal loss in comfort). The setup lowered the car nicely in my opinion with zero rubbing. My car is getting a rebuild and it is no longer a daily driver, instead it is mostly track but streetable to get to track or go have fun.
