hey guys,

I searched and found this thread on this forum and I could really use some help.

I changed out the transmission in my Jetta MK4 (Sorry I realize it's not a Golf!) and I need a reset to basic mode via VAG or VCDS.

I live in Clermont as well, and since my Jetta is in Limp mode and in 3rd gear, I can't go far obviously.

I've been going with this DIY since September 2017, and I really hoped that when I bought the cable to hook up to my laptop and reader port this would do it. Alas, the version of VCDS the cable does not even allow for Auto Trans reset.

my email is masonfx@gmail.com or can PM Me via this website. If you can help in any way I would appreciate it more than you would ever know.

John
