Just acquired this car, and the trans needs to be replaced. I do not have the existing trans code.
Looking for a used trans for this car, but not sure if the KPF code would be the best replacement, and not even sure if thats correct!
Could somebody tell me what style of trans is in the car, and is there a definitive chart/site anyone know of that gives the direct interchange of VW manual transmissions that could be used?
Because I know no better, I would like to include other years and models for a potential replacement.
