I just used spray paint and painters tape. First I took the badge off. Next I pried the letters off of the badge's backing. I cleaned the backing off really well then put down the tape and sprayed it red. I put another piece of tape to make the edge for the yellow section. Once the coloring was done I just sprayed a few layers of clear coat and stuck the letters back on. For the black section I didn't use any paint as the plastic is already black.
