Updates

Received the OEM rear license plate Leds

Here they are

Adaptors are from kufatec

Great quality

Before

So much road grime

First one went on

50/50

Installed both

Yeap much better, and OEM finish, not tacky blue-ish ones

No fault codes whatsoever, due to the kufatec adapters

Job done

Then, I installed the new 3000K lamps, but I might go for OEM bixenons at some point, cause this is the only car that I ordered without them, and to be honest, I miss having them.

In other news, after having the RS3 bushings since last summer, I decided it was a good time to install them, LoL

Out with the Old

Very worn as expected

In with the new, both front and rear

And then it was alignment time

Now, I am also trying to figure out what my next wheels will be, but I havent decided yet.

That is all for now

Cheers

Came out nice

Oem finish

Before and after

Went for a night ride with my daily AUD1ESEL

And today I installed them on the car

Hope you liked it too

Cheers

You seriously have one of the most amazing cars around my friend, hats off to you! That's some next level s&%t you have going on, freaking gorgeous!

Edit: you should get Volk TE37's for your next wheels, would look amazing...... as if it didn't already lol.

Hello, and thank you very much for your good words.
I have ordered some new wheels already, and they are a copy of a very well known wheel from Volk(Rays). If I do like them a lot, I might order the real thing, which costs, like 10 times more.

Did you know if RS3 bushings is compatible with MK5 1.9 TDI? Is the same reference?

Thanks!

I think yes, but check for yourself just to be sure, as I have no experience on Diesel mk5s. However I think they use the same front system more or less because i also had a N/a 1,4 FSI in the past

I'm blown away each and every update with this car, seems almost unreal that you have the skill set, time and funds to make this project keep getting better. I'd love to switch my instrument LED's to white but don't even know where to start! Good job!

Before I tell you anything about the updates.

So yes, these are not Volk CE28n, these are Japan Racing JR5 and I feel bad.

But hmmm...Not so bad when I see the end results.

Ordered two sets of these one for my car, and one for Tom's car

Waited for these for about a month, cause they were custom pcd, they are 5x112 Et35, 8x18.

Ordered these in bronze (the other option was hyperblack), but again the plan is to paint them glossy anthracite.

Mounted them to my 245.40.18 R888s for a very aggressive fitment

Ready to mount them

Very hard to make it work, but roller fender is my friend

suspension hasnt settled yet

Ready

Tom's Garage GTi

And mine

Cheers
