I got a 2007 Golf city recently and the battery died. As I took the nut holding the positive wire to the metal piece to the battery, the bolt snapped in half. I'll attach a picture. Idk what to do. Is it a simple fix to replace? Doesnt look like it. I mean I could get it welded together. Any ideas what to do?

You could remove the cable, drill out the bolt, replace with a new one
Drill through the metal? I can turn a wrench but I'm not that mechanically inclined, nor do I have the tools to do that.
Kind of curious though, what does that wire power? Obviously the big wire powers the car, but I've never seen a smaller wire connected like that. My guess is the sound system?
