Windows work but Door wont lock

Hey guys, i'm having some trouble here. My driver door can roll all the windows down, but the driver door itself wont lock/unlock. Also, the interior lights wont open if i open the driver door. And the door open light wont come on if the driver door is open. I need help guys, i need to know what to fix/replace/ Thanks!

Theres an open door sensor in door the latch I believe. Might be that. (Not sure though)

My driver's side door hasn't locked using the key fob for years. I just got used to manually locking it with the key. Somewhat irritating, but I haven't felt up to pulling the door skin off yet. As others have mentioned, more than likely it's the door latch.

Edit: The bigger concern here is that if your car isn't recognizing the driver's door open, it's not priming the fuel pump either. I usually put the key in, turn it to the first stop, let it sit for a second, and then start the car.
